Roles we hire for

  • Survey Assistant
    Entry level role supporting field crews with set up, measurements, mark outs, and data capture.
  • Graduate/Junior Surveyor
    Recent TAFE/university graduates assisting with fieldwork, computations, drafting, and set outs.
  • Party Leader / Project Surveyor
    Experienced surveyor leading field operations, QA, and client/site coordination.
  • Draftsperson
    Turning field data into accurate plans, models, and deliverables using CAD and BIM tools.

Pathways into surveying

  • School leavers (Years 10–12)
    Start as a Surveying Assistant while you complete a Certificate or Diploma in Surveying and Spatial Information at TAFE.
  • Career changers
    Bring experience from construction, civil, agriculture, or trades. We’ll train you on the tools and standards.
  • University pathway
    Study a surveying/geomatics degree while building practical experience with our team.

We’re happy to talk about flexible study arrangements and support as you progress.

What we look for

  • A genuine interest in how projects come together
  • Attention to detail and pride in doing things right
  • Comfort working outdoors in varying conditions
  • Basic maths/geometry and solid computer skills
  • A current driver’s licence
  • White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Experience with total stations, GNSS, lasers, UAVs, or CAD is a plus — but not essential for entry level roles.
